SketchMeUp Scottie!

Since the release of Google's tool Sketchup (Not the pro one ;)) I've been longing to give it a go. The results were pretty darn nice.

I had to get a quote from my builder (Without him actually coming home!) and I gave him a rough sketch of what needs to be done - He came back with this monstrous quote, which made me think - Yep! He reckons I need to build a new house!

Issue with 2007 Nissan Altima and Infiniti G35 sedans!!

Nissans wireless Tech device I-keys, which is supposedly designed to allow drivers to start their cars at push button, encountered a major setback today as they found out that it can erase the electornic code on keys which disables the locking and start up of the cars! Now thats a bummer isn't it!

"The car won't start and the I-Key cannot be reprogrammed." they said!

Whilst investigating a Thai Glyph
Issue, I came across an interesting observation. Thai character cluster consists of up to four parallel lines which is

-Base line ( pertains to consonants etc..)
-Upper line ( Diacritic )
-Lower line ( Diacritic /upper vowel)
-Line above the upper line (Upper Diacritic)

If you look at a good Thai language engine, a character cluster can contain up to three input characters given in the picture below



So think again when you ask someone in the interview : how many bytes does a char occupy : he might answer - multi byte( Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean)!! Recruit him. He knows what he's talking about.

Rabbit is a no show now!

Just had a mail from Purple saying - the rabbit I have right now does not support WPA [Oui. Je comprends - et cesse de me traiter comme un imbécile!!!] - much to my annoyance. Grrrrr!

Damn them for this! Have to shell out a tenner for a cheap WEP-ooter now just for the Rabbit and Roku soundbridge. Didn't they hear about Atheros chipset (luring them to use madwifi) before I wonder!!!
